These cars are way out of my reach, I have no experience with the higher end, but isn't it supply and demand? If the release of the GT3 RS is very limited and you have one configured properly, couldn't you make money on the second sale to the right buyer in the time frame you're speaking of? I imagine for the lucky people who deal with this type of car, a few 10s of thousands one way or the other isn't the question. It's how much they want it! Ask your dealer what the allocation for the USA is and judge your opportunity. As Vic said, just do the proper break in for the new owner with no track time and that will add to its desirability.
