Is it dumb to buy an older F10 that doesn't have any warranty?

This car would be kept for the long haul and be my DD. If you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate it if you shared it! Thanks!
I have no warranty on my f10 and had it nearly 2 years and it's my daily driver. Maintenance is key. I change the oil on mine every 3-5k miles.

I have replaced my con rod bearings just for peace of mind. So far I've had no big issues. The only things I've had to do is replace the turbo coolant hoses due to a leak but these are a common problem and very cheaply fixed.

I must point out though that if you happen to have an issue with something like engine or transmission it's going to cost you mega money. The suspension parts are expensive too. Front arms are 400 each, I have a knocking on mine but haven't replaced the arm yet. They are not the same as 5 series so you cannot just replace with cheaper ones.

The f10 is a great car but costs quite a bit to run especially if daily driving it. I am not trying to put you off though, I absolutely love mine.
