Yep original factory is 4/50.. But the BMW Extended warranty has not had a price change since pre-covid.. and I'm thinking if I put the $ in a 5% (at best) CD or short term bond or fund for 1 year I then still might not have enough as any BMW increase intuitively will be more than that..

My understanding is factory coverage would
not end if I got an extended warranty.. Yes there would be coverage overlap.. But again argument for buying now would primarily be hedging against an increase for 2024.. which I think would be logical to happen. But WTH knows! LOL
