There would definitely be a premium for this model, when I was looking to purchase there was only one available in the country and they wanted almost $20k more than a very similarly equipped, but "non Pure Metal Edition", M5 that I ended up buying. I don't personally feel that it's worth $20k more but I'm sure there are collectors out there that do.

I took a look at the one you are looking at, looks great. Doesn't look like they modded it and it looks very well cared for. If you could afford it and are interested in potentially having a collector car, I'd say go for it. If you want it to go up in value down the road, you probably do not want to modify it...my 2 cents.
