loaded or base model will be able to do BT music.. pair the phone and stream musing to BMW as you would to say apple TV or external BT speaker.. the problem is at least for me that connectivity is pure s^%$!! half of the time it doesnt work and you have to swtich back between XM or radio back to BT to get it to work.. never had issue with Iphone on any other devices besides BMW BT.. and the adapter thing inside the center console is for iphone 5.. who has iphone 5 these days? Lol.. i doubt they will ever make an adapter for 6 as car is stopping production this year.. so yeah.. if BT doesnt work i just go into XM and done with it..
