The Religious Right, much like George Orwell's 1984, is very interested in the destruction of language as a method of thought control; remove the words from the vocabulary, and the concept no longer exists. Censorship of words like fuck and shit is only sought by those who wish people to not think about the existence of non-procreational sex or natural bodily functions, or worse: those who cannot think for themselves.

One thing that I realize is that if I am offended by something, it is solely MY PROBLEM, not yours. And I will always be more offended by closedmindedness than words.
