So, here's how I think it'll go down:
G30 5 series comes to the US in summer of 2016 as a 2017 model.
G30 M5 introduced in summer of 2017 as a 2018 model.
So a one-year break in production of the M falls in line with BMW's past production schedules...
But then again, I could be totally wrong.

Yea agreed. But a 4 year model run with no special thing for the last MY. Super lame BMW.
