In the 2015 you get a little indicator light in the instrument cluster that lets you know that the heated steering wheel is on. That alone is worth the upgrade.

But yeah 2016 M5 is very disappointing followed by the speculation that BMW M will use another Twin Turbo V8 in the next generation M5. I'm even more disappointed by that.
