I should clarify, the title hasn't been signed and handed over without payment yet. more accurately, has anyone ever had a buyer in a private sale try to make the terms based on state inspection/titling & registering?
I'm against it even if the buyer uses an escrow mostly for the liability of not having payment and whatever that could happen in between. Based on a couple of other requests the buyer is making, I am thinking the buyer hasn't done much research on how a car sale goes.
