Gauge cluster issues

Hey guys. So today I got in my car (f10 m5) and the tachometer is sticking. The car thinks it’s at 3k rpm when the engine is shut off. I tried a system test and it still brings the needle back to 3k rpm. The needle still moves but it is not accurate at all. Has anyone had the problem before? (The car is completely off in the attached picture)

Mine does that too when I park it out in the sun for too long. It corrects itself when it cools down. Super annoying looking for a fix
