M6 343M Wheels on F10 M5

Did H&R Springs and it looks real slick now. The new question is should I run a 5mm or 8mm spacer in the front?

I'd go 8mm, do they do a hub-centric at that size ?

8mm will take you to the same position as 15mm spacer with the stock wheels which looks good IMO and is no problem when low, you are effectively running 21mm spacers at the rear with your rim edge position. Looks great by the way !

You might get away with a 10mm front spacer....

Oh by the way be really helpful if you could measure the tyre bulge by putting a straight edge across the outside of the tyre across the outside and then meausure how far in the rim edge is. with stock PSS 295's on 10" rims they are 9mm, the fronts are 4mm.

Love to see a few more pictures too, espcially from the front at an angle so you can see how the rears look to the arch

I ordered 10mms but haven't had time to try yet. To your previous point the 8mms are not hubcentric so I didn't want to go that route. A lot of people are running 12mm all around on stock M5 wheels so its worth a shot.

Looks good! So no spacers were needed in the rear? I'm thinking of doing just rear M6 wheels since they are a 1/2 inch wider so I can run a wider tire for more traction.

Bmw style 343m m5 wheels with et 32 and et 34 with 265 35 r20 and 295 30 r20 tires fit in normal bmw f10? Found them for 1750 euro but they need to be reconditioned because scratches and paint cracking. Should I buy them and put them on my car?

Don't do it, not for 520d. Different suspension and your car will handle like a harsh mattress, 343m's are only for M5's.

I’m about to do something even crazier. I’m sick of using spacers when putting on my set if 343’s. I can’t stand the vibration at 90-100 mph.

I just bought a clean M6 set of 343m. I swapped my M5 rear 343’s into my 265/35/20 Michelin PS5S and it is almost perfect BBS LM-R fitment.

BBS LM-R Specs: 343m M5:
20x9.5et23 20x10et34

That is 5mm shy of perfect BBS LM-R fitment. It is 11mm more than the m5 343’s. Looks great!

For the rear, I am shaving 6mm from the m6 343’s. This will be exact same fitment as BBS LM-R.
