How do I know if my clutches are slipping?
Just like the title. I’m tuned in stage 2 bm3 with downpipes and drop in intake. Tried doing a pull today in 4th at 80 and it feels like the engine free revs for a split second, then catches and goes. Not sure if it’s the tires losing traction, turbo lag, or a slipping clutch? Never got any clutch over heat errors or any of that. Car is 2014 dct car with 38k miles and was just tuned recently for about 300 miles now.

Your clutches are slipping. You will basically see an rpm rise when you give throttle and the car won't go anywhere for a second or so. Usually happens in the lower gears before the higher gears. And you can get slippage with as low as 600wtq sometimes, depending on if you are launching the car hard or not. These DCT's don't like a lot of torque. Time to pull the transmission and upgrade the clutches.

Also give the BETA stage 2 OTS tune a try
It's got reduced tq in lower gears to help with slippage I have same setup as you and I have 60k on my car and I haven't seen any evidence of slipping
