I dont have warranty anymore. If I had warranty still I dont think that BMW would replace the whole caliper. I dont know what to do. If we put a M logo there, it can look fake so I am not sure.

Probably a legacy of constant pressure washing with acidic 'wheel cleaner' applied.Nothing wrong with using an old splayed washing up brush to get behind the spokes with normal car wash suds.

Look fake? If you purchase the proper size letters and make sure it’s heat resistant you’ll be fine. I just purchased a M6 and the caliper looks just like yours with the ‘M’ being the only part missing..So I ordered the complete decal replacement and will simply add the M back in its place. Will look OEM, not fake.

There's also different color 'M' options out there as well in case you wanted to change it up. I've seen black, grey, black with white outline, etc. For anyone who replaces their decal, it is VERY important to clean the area very well with IPA prior to install, otherwise it wont stick well and will likely peel off sooner than later. |

I have same issue brewing. Replacement sticker/paint isn't fake if you've got the real M5/M6 engine

I have the same problem. I purchased some high temp replacement stickers. How did you remove the remaining color bands (my "M" is the only thing missing as well). I don't want to damage the blue paint on the calipers. Thanks.

Mine were completely gone on my M6, so ordered these, waiting to get them in:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-4-x-...72.m2749.l2649 Liked how there is a border around the entire logo, unlike stock. I also chose black, as that everything is blacked out on my car. It's not an exact replica, but I like it, and I think it will look good on the gold colored calipers. I also don't like how the logo on one side is flipped 'upside down' as from the factory. Looks weird. There is a bit of fading in the caliper paint/powdercoat where the logo was, so when I flip one the other way, it might show. Hopefully this black version will make it less noticeable. |

Had mine powder coated
The powder coat shop said it was super difficult to replicate the M and 3 bars on the caliper. They just didn't want to try it. So I just went with the black Brembo. It works good I think.
