New Hellcat versus Z06 Footage

I was very surprised. I wonder if the Hellcat is stock. I also wonder if the Z06 was manual, but it got its ass handed to it almost every time.

Also funny Mexico graphics and police at the end lol!

The caption at the begiining of the race says the corvette has the 8 speed automatic.

A little surprised as well with the performance of the hellcat.

Hellcat is very far from stock and the Z was not running hard. It's been all over Corvetteforum and Hellcat.org

The HC owner lied in the vid about being stock (and has blown an engine due to mods).

Modded vs stock (apples to oranges)

Similar to seeing a FBO E85 M3 stomping on a Stock F10 M5.. (albeit this wasn't even a stomping, barely pulled on the Z06)

Mexico? Tollway? Who is kidding whom? That's I10-W in Houston. Those fuckers are crazy especially running it like that under the SH Parkway interchange. There are cops out there and even though the highway has like 6 lanes now, no way what they were doing is safe. Who is Mr. Z06? anyone we know?

That's why I stay away from beltway 8/I10. Those guys use those highways to race on the weekends...

Id have to question any video where a car with no aerodynamics and 1,000 lbs heavier is pulling a purpose built rocket on the top end. I really dont care for corvettes (or the hellcat for that matter), but ive had a couple vettes and built a lot of fast ones, there really isnt much that can touch them from a rolling start unless it involves LOTS of horsepower to overcome weight, gearing and aerodynamics.
