Extremely High IATs help!!

Hi Guys,
So my car developed an issue with battery drain a few months back. Turned out that the coolant pump was not turning off. Checked and it would only turn off if the connector was removed from the DME. So the electrician wired the pump with some relay so that it turns off with some other pump. The battery drain issue is gone now but my IATs are too high today i saw 150f when the ambient temps were around 85f.

I think some water got into the connector of the DME which caused this issue to start with.

Now my problem is that even if i change all the 3 coolant pumps for the turbo and the intercoolers would that resolve the issue. Changing the DME is too big a problem as i think it would need to be coded.

What should i change? any lead would help.

Thanks.

I feel like your exact issue is the relay that was wired to the coolant pump. Now it isn't turning on hence the extremely high IAT's. I would start with figuring out why it wouldnt even turn off in the first place. I'm confused what do you mean water got into the DME's connector. They are made to withstand most substances from the environment and water is one of them.

Changing the DME would require coding but eitherway this entire issue isn't something I believe you can solve on your own without a very complicated computer to scan the entire car, like ISTA etc.

Best of luck.
