Help with KW V3 set up.
Hi everyone, my m5 f10 is equipped with KW V3 Coilovers +HLS. However, since my car is lowered, i sometimes notice that the from wheel of my car rubs to the fron bumper. And alao, think the suspension is too soft which may cause the tires rubbing.
Any ideas what should the rebound and bump values be? Thank you very much! Have a great Day ahead!! |

Factory setting for # of clicks open:
Front rebound/bump: 6/4 Rear rebound/bump: 9/5 If your roads are pretty nice, go a click stiffer on compression. Is it rubbing with wheel straight or only when turned? Last edited by vafan13; 08-19-2024 at 04:45 PM.. |

I've had KW V3's on a few cars, and have always found the factory suggested settings to be pretty much perfect! Then I ask myself why I didn't settle for the way cheaper V1's!!

I got the V3 installed for about 2 years now, and I found that the rear spring get softer overtime. I can hear some metal knocking sounds if run over some uneven road eg sudden drop, slow turning up or down.
I don’t know what setting it is now, the height is at its highest. |

I installed mine 5 years ago. After a period of experimentation, I found that the factory suggested settings were best and that’s how they are still set.
