Add engine sound to your Tesla?
I didn't even know these existed - wow!
Fabspeed makes amazing stuff, these probably sound incredible - but kind of funny to add in sound, I know Porsche, BMW have 'active' sound enhancement too, but this is waaaay over the top https://www.fabspeed.com/fabspeed-te...xhaust-system/

I would do it. I love a good exhaust note and E's have none, so make it.

Inside my TMS there were so many different rattling and squeaky sounds thanks to it's lack of build quality, way more interesting than any engine sound. You expect things to fall apart all time (and a few times mine did too).
There is a website with sound clips from the different TMS sounds, but I couldn't find it again. |

If I had an EV I'd look into something like this. Acceleration is no fun without the drama of your senses being stimulated.

I can see a big aftermarket in this (not just for electric). Mounting external speakers/use existing sound system for engine noise. You could have a collection of different engine sounds to pick from.

May be the biggest poser expense I've seen for any car. And people here complain about others applying $15 M stickers?

Iirc the Model S will already allow you to upload any sound file you want, like a V8 rumble or something from Star Wars/The Jetsons. Somebody’s gotta do Bubb Rubb

Automakers should make the performance versions of EV's that simulate the feel and sound of NA motors paired to dual clutch transmissions. At least then this whole transition into EV's wouldn't be so painful. But it's gotta come from the manufacturer. Otherwise something like this is just weird and makes it feel similar to slapping a fake badge on your car.
