Another KW H.A.S. Convert
So I finally got around to having the KW H.A.S. kit installed. Since the car was under the knife, I also installed the comp pack sways.
I put a modest drop on the car - 15mm on all four corners. Didn't want a massive drop, but a little more than the comp ride height. Perfect, IMHO. Been driving it hard the last couple days and I have to say that this upgrade transforms non-comp cars. It is night and day. Car corners more flat, turn in is WAY more precise, and the car responds better to corrections if needed while in a corner at the limit. And the ride (at my height) is perfect. Stiffer than stock but not bouncy. Definitely feels like the springs are tuned to the dampers well. If you are on the fence about ditching the H&Rs, do it. You'll be glad you did. Now the car feels right.
