Got it done guys - car felt great!

First pass: 10.16 @ 142.48 (1.77 60-foot)
2nd pass: 9.99 @ 140.8 (1.57 60-foot)

0-60 was 2.5s !!!!

VBOX for 0-60, timeslip attached.

Video - not very good quality (fish-eye lens), but you can hear the guy on the PA.

Congrats! Amazing results, first M5 in the nines.

I am pleasantly surprised with how much untapped potential BMW designed into the M5/M6 S63tu motor.
And appreciative of those pioneers like Allmotor_2000 and M6_Beast and the rest who are willing to explore the limits of this motor.

Allmotor, If I recall correctly your M5 is sporting hybrid Pure turbos. What fuel and boost did you use on these runs?

Couldn't run anymore - need a roll cage and a bunch of other NHRA stuff. She had a 9.8 in her.

This was very difficult to make happen - lots of help from several folks and lots of tuning time.

It's interesting how wheel spin on the first run gave you more mph. Congratulations on an impressive run for a 4,400 pound car! And streetable no less! Don't do the sub 10 second NHRA cage, keep it a comfortable 5 passenger sedan for the street.

I goofed the 9s pass and let off early before the end. I knew it hooked well and was too excited I guess... didn't wait for the light. Probably would have been a 9.85.

Put the seats back and take my kids to school in the car tomorrow :-)
