2016 manual for sale; what's the best platform?

Second owner of a ‘16 M5 6 speed Comp package. Bought in Feb’20 via dealer (CPO car) with 45k miles. Now have 71k miles and looking to sell the thing. Always have a hard time getting rid of cars I own (‘13 Audi S4 manual w/ 44k miles that I barely drive, spec’d and bought new). Asking this group for the best platform to sell the thing. Not looking for a real hassle and would also pay a broker to manage it. Finally, any sense of what ballpark value is? Care more about a good home than squeezing the most value (not that I don’t mind that!)

I reached out to Enthusiast Auto and they said they’d take a look. Appreciate any thoughts here! Been a great car (oh, and the first owner installed Dinan coilovers…only mod)

Getting a broker is a better bet, then you would rid yourself of the tire kickers, car dealers and dreamers who just want to forever haggle and make up non existent stories of how unreliable they are.

I believe there were only 118 M5 Comp 6-speeds made, so it's a pretty rare car. Mileage isn't bad for the age, but might scare off some. You might be able to get $45-50K. Just guessing though. Have you checked out BAT? You can see what similar cars historically have sold for.

They were $42-50k for two recent trades and both had more miles and were older models.

Sooooo, anyone have a name of a broker? LA or Southern California? Happy to pay fees if they can bring a decent price. Need to move it.

Already had photos taken for the S4 for that a couple years ago and didn’t complete the process. Wasn’t sure if there was a person/non-auction who would “middle man” it to the private party world for a fee. Completely agree, most eyes on those two website. What I’ve mainly found are people who want to buy it outright and then sell it. Looking for consignment at the local level. Thanks all

Here is your comparison basis: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2014-bmw-m5-37/

It's at $35k now with 2 days to go. Last hours when the real bids are made. I suspect this will end up in the 50-60k range. These cars (with 6MT) should gain in value as long as you keep the miles in check. Keeping them stock probably will make them more attractive to collectors in the long run.

Ive had my F10 M5 since new. The more it gets old, the more I like it. Im driving it more now. Its 100% stock. 17k on the clock. I added the tools on the backlid.
When the time comes, Ill sell this to a collector. You cannot buy another M5 like this ever. BMW is not motorsport anymore.

Thanks for sharing. Good comp, not sure if grey outside and black interior is a bonus to this or not. More miles but ‘16. Would be happy in that range for sure.

6 speed manuals are quite a rarity, none came over the pond .

I just paid 38,250 plus fees for a 2013 with 55k miles. No BW or tech package.

The HK is plenty good for me. I messed with the EQ etc and sounds good (enough) to my ear. I’m not an audiophile.

The 6 speed is the star.
