M-seats head-rest positioning - DVD system

I ordered the M-seats (but never tested them in this regard). I still have a BMW DVD system, which is mounted to the head-rest’s pillars (looks okay for an after-market installation - and the kids leave me no choice than having something...).

Now, the M-seats head-rest looks like being more integrated into the seat. Meaning, most people will probably not advance them. If that is so, the after-market DVD-system would force me to have the head-rest always a little up – which may look awful (or say „not stylish“).

Does anybody have experience with the M-seats? Would a driver of 185cm (or 6 feet 1) need to pull the head-rest out (for optimum safety)?

I much appreciate any feedback, since the integrated entertainment system doesn’t look better on Sakhir Orange seats (since the frame has no leather) AND is proportional very expensive.
