BIMMERPOST NEWS 2014 M5 LCI Facelift Prototype Shows Only Minor Design Changes Coming UPDATED PHOTOS 4/15: These new photos show off a potentially new wheels for the M5 and gives us a great look at the new optional LED headlights. As expected, the 2014 F10 M5 will be receiving a LCI update/facelift together with the F10 5 Series. The 5 Series LCI facelift has already been partially revealed, but it's been unknown how much of the M5's design would be affected. These spy photos show that the F10 M5 will receive the same upper front fascia and headlight updates [pics] as the 5 Series, but will receive no changes to the lower front bumper design. Like the 5 Series, the F10 M5 will also receive light updates to its tail lights and lower rear bumper. The 5 Series LCI will receive tweaks to its steering, but it's not yet known if the F10 M5 will be affected by this, or receive any other mechanical updates. Here is the revealed LCI facelift for the front end of the F10 5 Series: And compared to current pre-LCI 5 Series: |

Whoever has a pre lci m5 can't be angry, youre among the first who got to show it off. You knew this was coming (maybe not so soon) Having something first is the trade off, though it wears out quick
Personally, i can hardly tell the difference |

The fact that lower portion of M5 bumper retains its shape (and it resembles M sport bumper) means not a whole lot of change in LCI M sport F10 except lights / engine hp boost.

While not exactly cheap, it'll be easy enough for anyone to update their pre-LCI F10M. Front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, and taillights are all you'll need. Maybe wheels if BMW updates those as well, but it's doubtful they will.

I'm pretty sure I have one.
P.S. Doing an LSX swap into the E36 M3.

Changing headlights and upper fascia is more than minor. They were never going to change the bottom part of front fascia.
Unlike the M3 who did not receive new headlights for LCI. That LCI was a minor update. |

The LCI model is supposed to get the M6 steering wheel as well.
