Few annoying things
I found some annoying things already and was wondering if there is a fix or maybe software update.
- Ipod connected via USB keeps on disconnecting and I have to go into the media and connect it again. This happens while playing a song. - HTC One is not able to stream audio via bluetooth. - Connected drive is not working and it says to call some number. - Can't reply to text messages via idrive; only read the messages. Thanks in advance.

my phone constantly loses bluetooth connection. says "phone unavailable" when you press the phone button. crappy.
navigation is also crap. voice activation, crap. its easier to pull out your android, and use the google nav app then to use this crap BMW has. |

1. Ipod via USB: This is a known issue and has to do with the music device itself and not the USB port in the BMW. Apple and Android have yet to release fixes. 2. HTC and Bluetooth: Don't know about HTC, but I am able to stream perfectly with iPhone4S and iPhone5. 3. Connected Drive: Call the number. 4. Text Messages: Maybe it's something you are doing wrong.

Forgot to mention that DVD movies do not play either when parked with the e-brake up.

Here's an idea find someone else with a HTC One and see if the problem still persist. Another option would be to root your phone and put a custom ROM at least this will rule out both software and hardware

Quality work. I think he may be able to code remotely. He did a bunch of our cars.

I'm sorry, but these are high performance autos, ultimate driving machines, not info-tainment centers. The only audio and visual entertainment I care about are advancing needles on the speedo/tach and melodies from the exhaust.

1.) It never loses connection when the phone has no bars 2.) It knows where high traffic areas are and suggests re-routes 3.) It has a good screen and plenty of zoom and pan capability 4.) It allows for alternate routes 5.) You can send it routes from Google maps 6.) It shows you where gas stations are and what brand they are On the downside, it does do a bad job on locating a specific location from time to time. |

pretty sure there was a software update at least for the bluetooth connection.
i upgraded the software (bmw.com/update) on the bluetooth but my note 2 continues to intermittently drop BT connectivity so the update really did not do anything for me.
