Ballsy place to start! I would love to check out your KW install when complete. I'm very curious to see how it compares to stock ride and performance. Let's get a mountain run lined up sometime soon, if you're up for it.

I have friends that swear by these and say the ride is better that stock, I have had nothing but great experience with KW products.

I'm right there with both of you. I'd like the ride of OEM (or better) with the height setting of a bit less drop than what I have now. I really am having a hard time waiting for Dec. for the DDC kit to have on-the-fly adjustability - not of ride height, of course.

Ahh...KW coilover that has Dynamic Damping Control (DDC). In a nutshell it is similar to our OEM setup with three settings: Comfort, Normal, and Sport - all are customizable.
Get this, it also can be ordered with a WiFi controller which interacts with an iOS app allowing you to set the car up from the phone and you can send your specific settings to other users for their KW setup. Cool, eh? The KW folks at Bimmerfest were saying later this year, around Christmas. Probably won't integrate with the stock buttons or display, but that is OK with me...if I keep OEM-like rebound/damping options! http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_ddc.php

Already?? You have severe car modding ADD.... but i'm glad you let us all in on the process I'm surprised you didn't go with Ohlins since you usually put top of the line parts on your car. Are those the clubsport ones?

Wow, you definitely didnt waste any time.
I never tried KW's, but I still have PSS10's on my e46 and love them.

AMS catted downpipes does not throw a CEL. If you go catless you'll need a pair of microcats. I went AMS catless and so far I am loving it. Totally transformed the car. Got the CEL during the Targa Vegas run, but I'm having microcats put in this week. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'll be at C&C Irvine along with the #M5ARMY if anyone wants to hear it.

I want more video of that guy laughing during filming. He had me rolling! My wife thought something was wrong with me. Can't wait to see your car lowered on those kw. It will look smooth for sure.
