What would you do?
So guys I have decided to part ways with my M5. I have a few cosmetic mods done to it, and was looking for advice. Do I take the E-race and HRE's off and sell those separately? Or, should I try and sell it as a whole or should I be looking for someone to take over lease payments? The car is a 13 with 7100 miles on it. I am 18 months into a 36 month lease. My buyout is around 80k, payment is kind of high at $1542 including MA tax. Without tax the payment is $1450/month. Other mods that would be staying with the car would be the IND grills and reflectors and the full front end clear bra wrap. SO, what does the M5 world say?

Most conveinant would be leave them on. But you'd get more of your money back selling the parts first.

You could list up the car as whole and see what you get. Are you looking to sell the car to someone or have someone take over the lease? You would get more money back by taking off the mods and selling them separately.

Take the big pieces off (exhaust, wheels) and leave all the other cosmetic mods. I just did this myself. Had a buyer for the exhaust in 1 day

100% agree; this is your best bet regardless of sell, trade or lease swap. Not usually likely to find someone who wants the exact same mods and if even if they do it's rare they would increase the value compared to a totally stock vehicle.

Are those 20" or 21" wheels?

I guess my thoughts have been confirmed, take off wheels and exhaust and then move the car either through a lease swap or buyout etc...I've had a bunch of pm's on the wheels already which is great. As far as pricing goes, not sure exactly on the wheels I will post in the classifieds when I figure that out. Thanks for the replies everyone!
