Here is some information that might be helpful. I am attaching a link to a brief and rough video explaining how the BMS stage 1 gets installed. Yep, no academy award here but hopefully helpful. My friend, a trained BMW tech, installed this in about 30 minutes. If I tried to do this it probably would have taken at least an hour because the sensors were a little hard to reach. I am also attaching a screen shot of the BMS tool from the install screen when you prep the juice box so you can see the settings. We followed the BMS recommendation and I am set a 3 PSI. A few other settings to address but the default is what we did. Hope this helps. Cheers. |

Hence, I probably should be patient until I get real testing time next week. How about the added boost. I have read some crazy numbers, Burger itself of course strictly stays with the official data of 3.0, 3.25 for high flow and 93 and up to max 4 for race gas. But I have seen some claiming 6.5 PSI over on 93 octane. I wish there would be a chart of PSI vs. improved performance vs. increased risk of damage to the engine.

I think software to download corresponds to the box sent. As you can see my future use was set to 0 instead of 1 which I changed. Not sure what the other setting waste gate etc are for or what the ideal setting may be.

@JPMD
Yeah, you are right and when one buys the Stage 1 they need to check the numbers on the JB and then align to the right software set up as per the attachments. All found in the installation guide. |
