Thats what Im looking for and at this point I have not found a 2014 for 45K or under. I have read in many threads that if you are near the price of 2014 then you should just wait until you can afford the 2014 over the 2013. Now if price is the issue then you're only going to find the 2013s for cheap due to the minor changes.
I have found a few 2013's priced at 37-42K but they had a good amount of miles 50k+ on them and all have been out of warranty which is huge when it comes to these cars. Good luck with the search. |

Be patient and go for a 2014 or find a few extra thousand to increase your range. Always get warranty with the purchase.

Yeah Im in the same shoes... I would prefer a 14. I was looking to spend 38-44 max and I think I need to just wait until the 14's come down in price a little. In the mean time I will tinker around with my M3 to keep me busy.

This car depreciates way too heavily... There are numerous 13's in the mid 40's range while the 14s are in the mid 50s to low 60s range. This means a 10-15k depreciation over 1 year still, for a 4+ year old car! I mean the initial 4 year depreciation is ridiculous, well over 60k...
Honestly 13 Audi S6 or S7 are selling pretty much around M5 prices and they were MUCH cheaper new... I wonder why, is it supply, demand, or reliability? Given this trend, it doesn't appear a used M5 is a good buy... it appears they ll continue to depreciate almost straight line down to below 20k over the next few years as well... |

Also keep in mind that the F90 is just around the corner. Once they reveal it the F10 prices will come down even more. Used market will be saturated with F10s by the guys that will upgrade to the F90. That's what I'm waiting for myself. F10 CP or bust...

I think you are right! I have to be patient and focus one 2014, I think I have to sell my G37 I was trying to have both sides ( slammed ) and by adding M5 ( performance). But I think its better to sell it and increase my range. This is my G37 guys if you know people who is looking for a ride please share it with them. |
