I just like the fact that this is a First in the world of cars. Mercedes AMG built this car from the ground up as a 4-door sports car. Although the Porsche Panamera does exist in this segment too, their original design was not quite the car to put 2 door sports cars to shame like this AMG GT63S does. Of course still waiting for the F90 M5 Competition Ring time to be recorded, but it'll be quite a feat to beat 7:25s based in the Non-Comps time of 7:38s. What's especially mind boggling, is how the GT63S achieved such a time despite is heavy weight of over 4,500lbs. I know rear wheel steering has a large part to play in it though.

I noticed he was in Auto mode the whole time as I did not see him touch the paddle shifters once throughout the entire lap! Kudos to MB on the trans programming

But the fact is that the GT63S comes with 630hp from the factory, just a matter of time before we see a 4-seat sports sedan that puts out 700hp from the factory. The new RS7 will probably come close to that.
