what i do know is that i had the problem, changed plugs and gapped them and was fine. A few other members said the same thing. I know you can run OEM plugs however i also know what PTF has on their site and they do say run NGKs gapped at 0.018-22"

For what it's worth. I roll raced a 2018 Challenger Hellcat yesterday. From a 40 mph roll, I beat him by about a foot; it was even most of the way.
The Hellcat driver was surprised. He couldn't believe my 2014 M5 CP with just BM3 Stage 1 93, everything else stock, could stay with him or beat him. I am running on stock plugs, filters, coils, injectors and tires. I will change air filters and plugs next week to (NGK 97506 gapped at .020"), and try again. It been fun, especially when your car is running well. Guys, continue to learn, test and inform the group of your successes and failures. This is how we improve the performance of our M cars. |

I hope this didn't open up a huge debate at what the best coil is There is plenty of forum talk about that.

Thanks for the info BB6. I will change the plugs to the colder NGK 97506, gapped at .020"
Stage 1 93 is what I am using now (I don't want to install catless downpipes as I may trade-in for an F90 M5 CP in the near future). I also have Stage 1 93 BETA, but the Stage 1 93 ran stronger. I enjoy running this car; it has been trouble free so far. |

BM3 Stage 2 93 requires downpipes. How much HP/TQ with 27+ lbs of boost. Have you taken it to the track or raced anyone to get an idea how quick it is.
This is good info. |
