Show me / M5 F10 KW HAS
Guys I’m considering the kit as per header.
Currently have Comp springs and 10mm spacers all round however feel it sits just to high. Let me see yours. |

I still have room in mine to go lower, but the roads where I live this is as low as I can go. I love the way the car feels with it but I came from a non competition package.

Do it. I’ve got the KW kit and it’s been great for the last few years. I also have a CP car and the front gap was too much with the stock springs but rears were good. I switched them out and never regretted it. I have pics but I’m having trouble posting them.

Enjoy! I wish it went lower in the front but you can see the rears can go as low as you want.

You guys like the way the KW HAS ride? I have Dinan coilovers and when too low, not near what shown above, the ride is way bouncy in the rear. Thinking of switching but want real feedback on ride quality. Thanks!

I have a steep entry to my driveway no issues. Pulling out of my driveway I have to hug one side and cut it hard the way I'm exiting not to scrape, but this is more because of the carbon chin spoiler than the drop. Without the chin spoiler I would have no issues with rubbing.

Can you actually go any lower in the front? I have the H&R springs and supposedly it's a 1" drop and I thought I saw the KW's max out at 1.2" so I'm not sure if .2" is enough.

No, mine is maxed out in the front unfortunately. They said I could remove the bump stops if I wanted to go lower but I refrained. It seems either 21s with the HAS or V3 will remove all of the wheel gap.

Something doesn't sounds right, mine either on 20s or 21s I was able to get the front lower and be no where near the bump stop. I only came up cause my driveway and streets are too rough.

Not the h.a.s. but I had the full system on my last M5. I definitely loved the way it sat, but honestly i wasn't super happy with the ride. Was a lot more bouncy than i was hoping for..
plus, not sure if anyone else thought this, But the adjustments seemed to never really make much of a difference. The handling was much better on turns and stuff but i hated hitting bumps. The ride wasn't horrible it just wasn't a huge upgrade in everrry aspect. One major negative was how fast id kill a set of tires. Obviously on our cars the rear tires don't last long, but they'd go 2 or 3 times faster on the inner parts due to the camber. Meant to get the adjusters to help compensate, but totaled the car before i could. With that said.. im considering doing the has system. Hurt my heart to lose the capability of adjusting dampeners via the M software . |

So far so good but I do slow down a lot whenever I see a dip, pothole or anything I think that might be an issue. I just got a different lip though so hopefully that doesn't make things worse.
