Replaced plugs and coils, clear adaptations?
2014 M5 CP w/ 15k miles and Stg 1 tune
Installed used BMS intakes a couple weeks ago, cleaned and oiled the filters (I think used too much oil..) Ended up going into limp mode after 10 days, culprit was a dead coil and a fouled plug. Replaced all coils, and 1 step colder NGK plugs gapped to .022 Noticed rough idle and drivability issues, but plenty of power at WOT - pulled the MAF's and saw they were coated in oily residue. Put stock intakes back on and cleaned the MAF's with a full can of CRC MAF cleaner. Car seems to idle and run better at low throttle situations, but far from where it should be. I know the MAF's are super sensitive but before spending $300 on a new pair, could this simply be an issue where I have to get the adaptations cleared?

Since you got a fouled plug I would assume its your O2 sensor. |

those oiled filters will mess up mafs.
I cleaned mine recently and it took some time driving for the computer to re-adapt. no more idle moving around now. |

New MAF's fixed the issue.
