There is no any other way debating this. I personally had this low boost issue for the longest time. Recently sealed the hoses and boost is all back.

Wired-open valves on stock exhaust?
Noob question - if I open the second valve in the exhause and tie it off with wire so it stays open, does that do anything funny to the valves? Disconnect them and plug them? Leave them alone?
Also... someone posited that the valve served to help with developing low-end torque in the engine, but I can't find the thread. Any downside to just opening the things up and calling it a day? Thanks! |

The control valve has just one vacuum line from the engine coming in, and the line coming out and going to the muffler valves has a T to split it for both mufflers.
There should be no mystery about running problems whenever you have an air leak, and that's what you have if you don't plug those lines if you take them off. Unmetered air not measured by the MAF going into the engine is going to cause driveability issues. Just start your car, and take off the oil filler cap and you'll see what I mean. |

Bring up an old thread. I just got my car dynoed and the numbers were really bad. I had got a muffler delete but I don't think the shop closed the vacuum line. I just jacked up the car to try to find the lines but I can't seem to find them.
Do I need to remove the rear bumper for find them? Thanks |

How does the car feel to you? Any way to log it and send the files to the tuner? I never put my car on the dyno. Half the shops don't know how to dyno these cars. No offense to anyone here. I put my hellcat on a dyno and numbers showed 470w on a 707hp motor lol. I laughed.

Do we still need to plug this even if it's connected to the AKRAPOVIC exhaust vacuum lines?
Or is this only needed if there is a muffler delete? For example I have the valves forced open by the wire method. I'm wondering if this still needs to be plugged still? |
