M5 at Grattan Raceway
Was a hot (for Michigan) memorial weekend at Grattan raceway but a great time. Mishimoto oil cooler did really well, keeping me at ~240F on oil temps despite pushing hard (my friend's e92 m3 hit 270s, oof). PS4S were less enthusiastic about the track temps but despite the whining they survived.
For the Dinan swaybars I ran medium on the front and full stiff on the rear to try and dial out some of the understeer. Ended up one click stiffer on compression and rebound for the front on the KW V3s. Didn't get to messing with the rear, but will next time try a click stiffer there as well. That said I'm done running stock wheels with PS4S. Going to follow Spiff's lead and go square, but likely with 295/35r19s. Still too much understeer and the stock 265s with the PS4S's more flexible sidewall get overwhelmed. Most interesting thing to me on track with this is how well throttle can help steer it, even without causing oversteer. I assume the eDiff is helping torque vector by throwing a lot of power to the outside wheel. Best lap. A PR for me and I blame being slower than my friends scat pack widebody on him having 305s up front. Or something like that 😀. I could have had a 1:32, but let off for both the front and back straights. Nice action shot with my friend in the passenger seat

For the dinan sway bars, try full stiff in the front and full soft in the rear.

Looks like a blast! I agree for going with a square tire setup and stepping down from 20s.
