Switch to Silicone Cooling Hoses?

Has anyone switched to silicone radiator or turbo cooling hoses? If so, notice any change in temps or performance? And where did you purchase?

It's good to replace cooling hoses that are on their last legs visibly with silicone hoses but I doubt just replacing them for replacements sake will bring any benefit. Some replace the thermostat for a cooler running one if for instance their motor runs too hot when they track it or are in traffic a lot.
