Yea that place is super shady. They leave out the carfax on their websites for vehicles that have branded titles. That is just shady business.
https://www.ghassanautomotive.com Ghassan is well known for rebuilding s63tu motors or sending you a rebuilt one and then you send yours back for a core. Alot of people just ship their cars out there to them. |

Just spoke to him. Sounds like a genuine guy . Will talk to my wife about it . Sending the car to him so he will rebuild it . Thanks for the recommendation ill keep you posted . And as for that dealership they will get theirs i really didn't believe they would do something like this to customers and get away with it.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Except I didn't get any weird idling or anything that seemed wrong with the engine. Just a drivetrain malfunction 3 times in 2 days. Took my car to the dealership to get a diagnostic test. Found cylinder 4 misfiring and turbo coolant lines leaking. I'm aware that there is come kind of service recall for the coolant lines. The dealership said my VIN wasn't covered . I bought my 2013 M5 around 2 weeks ago with about 57k miles with an extended 3rd party warranty. Test drove it and everything checked out fine with a nice car fax report to back up the services done to the vehicle. I'm guessing it's the spark plugs, coils, or an injector? But I guess my luck ran dry 2 weeks and about 1000 miles later.

Drive a dream used to be ALM (ATLANTA LUXURY MOTORS) I was looking at many M5s in the last two years and would always see them have some nice combos/options but lemon title.
I think GA has no lemon law and they probably sold you the car as is. Sorry man keep us updated. It seems this type of failure is a hit or miss, I had the same problem over the summer, crazy smoking and car running like ass. Ended up being leaking injectors on bank one, problem was resolved after new injectors were installed. Last edited by AWF10M5; 01-11-2019 at 10:15 AM.. |

I would almost be more worried about their 'clean' title cars because they are so shady. What we do know is that BMW has extended the warranty on all F10 M5's for the fuel pumps and injectors to 100k miles. Stay on top of your spark plug and coil maintenance, and let the BMW dealer handle any miss-fire codes that appear because of injectors.

I noticed many lemon cars from CA as well. I don't think I've ever seen a lemon not from CA.
Problem with those cars is that you are SOL when a situation like this arises. And bmw is no help either. While the injectors are covered bmw will skirt around replacing the engine even though the failure was caused by leaking injectors.....as we see here. |

Long shot but those who had this issue what was the solution? I've done spark plugs recently but on original coils at 45k miles. Debating swapping coils around but if its my fuel injectors scared of causing major engine damage by possibly running with an injector dumping. Happened once at a high way pull restarted and gone. Did a couple pulls on the way back didn't reoccur. What codes does the dealership need to swap injectors will these codes sufice?
