yeah i was told that the new M5 wheels are going to look similar to the Msport F10 5 series wheels but with more spokes so i wanted to add a miltispoke wheel instead of the Concept CS wheels.

Yeah, I saw what you were told by Scott. The new ones you used are better looking. My favorite BMW wheels are from the E60 M5.

Much better. It almost looks like a real photograph , although you will not see it in reality for another year.
They might offer these wheels as an additional cost option? Who Knows? Maybe you would eventually like to try with the original concept wheels previously discussed? Perhaps a Touring now? |

I wasnt going to respond to your first post about the E60 M5 wheels, I even decided to ignore your second post about how nice the E60 M5 wheels. But when you said your favorite BMW wheels are the E60 M5, I simply couldn't resist anymore, BMW has made some pretty decent wheels over the years, but the E60 M5 wheels some of the most bland wheels they ever made, both because of the design and because of their plain silver finish. Not aggresive wheels at all, the ones Alpine put up now are beautiful.

It's not Silver but a special finish we like to term "Chrome Shadow" it is a special finish and unique to BMW M And their Concept Vehicles.
The IAA 1999 launch of the BMW M3 Concept Car (E46) And has since seen the light of day on the Concepts of the M5 (E60), M3 (E92) and of course the CS Concept Car. Unfortunately the color will never be available for commercial or exclusive customer use as the production procedure is time consuming as is the cost which lies under 50,000 Euro to bring it to commercial purpose , which is why BMW do not offer this colour even to exclusive customers. Space Grey and Frozen Grey matte are the closest you can get to Chrome Shadow. |
