Be thorough and methodical with your testing so there are no ambiguous results. But, the most important thing is to be SAFE with your real world tests! It will be exciting to find the limits of the tune, but things happen so fast at 180+ mph!! I'm sure you have good places to find the upper limits, but wildlife at high speed can be just as deadly as a car. Be careful, and maybe it will take more than a day or two to find those limits, ease into it.

Very important you work out which is which. I was specifically asked to mark my ECUs drivers side and passengers side for the remap. Would contact BR Performance and ask.

BR didn't programme it with the bigger turbo that I have cos for custom they need the car to be there on the dyno so instead I got the stage 2. Can't wait to get it bk n put it on the dyno to see what's the gain difference with the piggyback. |

I'm always running very very rich till 10.6 AFR at high rpm with or without methanol. So with bigger turbo is not running lean but is more on the car isn't really response to the piggyback with the upgrade turbo. I will try again this time on the dyno n my Qstar on timing n power. Boots, test out the car n let us know your results..... |

The turbos from Vargas only upgrade couple small things; the A/R housing and inlet are still the same. The spool time would not be affected.

Compressor is 52mm inducer x 68mm exducer. Turbine is 50mm inducer X 44mm Exducer 12 degree clip. I had tried with my Gstar timing gauge n the timing drop 0.7sec on a 100-200kmh test. Sometimes is slower by even more than 1sec, the turbo spool much much slower at almost 4000rpm. This is from my true experience, if u ask me why I also wish to know the answer. The whole Arka exhaust system sounds so different after the turbo was installed, it doesn't sound as solid as before anymore, very difficult to tell u why unless u experience it yrself. |

Just got my ECU back n hook it up.....
For sure the car run much more power compare to my piggyback. I will arrange for a dyno next week to see the actual gain over the piggyback. Overall this is how I feel. BR stage 2. AFR at 12.5 to 11.6 when turbo kick in at about 2600rpm to redline. The turbo spool much faster at lower rpm The car will swing to one side once you full throttle & the DSC light keep coming up. 2nd & 3rd gear. I think the redline is been push up. Piggyback AFR at 14.5 to 10.8 when turbo kick in at about 3000rpm but will only turn Rich after 4500rpm & reaching 10.8 after 6000rpm. Turbo will only spool after 2800rpm. The car will only see DSC light up in a quick brink form in 2nd & 3rd gear. Can't test the timing bcos of road condition but will try to do it tomo night again. Overall I'm happy about it. |
