For Sale: BMS Stage 1 Piggyback and BMS CAN CEL Tool
Sold together or separately I have a Burger Motorsports Stage 1 Tuning Piggyback box and the infamous Burger Motorsports CAN CEL Delete Tool for sale. Asking $1,200 if sold together or $1,000 for the CAN CEL Delete Tool and $200 for the BMS Stage 1 Piggyback, if sold separately. Unfortunately I don't have the computer cable that goes with the Stage 1 Piggyback module. When I moved earlier this year I packed it away in a box and its somewhere in storage right now, but if I ever find it I'll mail it to you for free. The cable itself was an extra $30 bucks. The Stage 1 box is currently set at +3.2psi over stock which is conservative but I was still able to make 572 horsepower to the wheel with it. Both items are in excellent condition and ready to ship to one lucky buyer. I upgraded to a BMS JB4 system and I don't need these anymore. The beauty of the BMS Stage 1 Piggyback and CAN CEL Delete Tool is that they are extremely easy to install and you can it yourself in a matter of only 30 minutes if you know how to take the intakes off, which is easy too. This compared to the BMS JB4 is a WAY easier installation. The JB4 also gets rid of the CEL but is complicated to install. With the Stage 1 Piggyback you just plug the cable connectors into the TMAP sensors and that's it. Additionally with the CEL Delete Tool you just plug it into the OBD2 Port and it will eliminate the CEL within about 3 minutes or less, then you just leave it plugged in and no more Drivetrain Malfunctions due to Catless Downpipes. It's so easy even a caveman could do it! If you aren't aware the BMS CAN CEL Delete Tool is a highly valuable item in the F10 M5 and F13 M6 world because of its extreme ease of use. No need to drill your ECU and do a flash tune to get rid of that pesky CEL, nor a need for a complicated JB4 install, you just plug in the CEL Delete Tool and you are off to the races! I'm also supposed to say these are for racing purposes only, but what you do with them is your business. Get these items while they are hot because they are going to go fast!

Good luck getting one from them. It's a discontinued product and has been for years now.

It's not like gold. Search BMS CAN Flap Module on BMS website. It's the same tool just renamed and they can't advertise that it erases codes. Last edited by SLVSRFR; 06-03-2016 at 02:14 PM.. |

It doesn't say that the FLAP Tool specifically works with F10 M5, or F12/13 M6. Only the F80 M3 and the F82 M4. This CAN Tool I am selling was specifically designed for the M5 and M6. It also doesn't say that FLAP Tool constantly and automatically clears codes like the CAN Tool does either. It just says that it can clear the code, does that mean one time only? I'm pretty sure the FLAP Tool is not the same product nor has the same capabilities. Terry stopped selling the CAN Tool many years ago due to specific circumstances at the time. But hey I could be wrong. Either way, still asking $1,000 for now.

Why wouldn't someone just buy the Jb4 tune and leave it in Map 0 and turn off the CEL with it instead? It will still be cheaper than what you are selling that for. http://burgertuning.com/s63tu_m5_m6_bmw_jb4.html

Here is a DIY for the JB4 install. Explain to me how plugging the BMS CAN CEL Delete Tool into your OBD2 Port and immediately enjoying your car is not faster and easier than a full JB4 install, and to pay someone to do a JB4 install will cost even more money. The convenience of not having to go through all the trouble of doing a JB4 install is what makes the BMS CAN CEL Delete Tool so appealing to many people and why it is so valued. You simply plug the CAN Delete Tool into your car and that's it! There's nothing more you have to do to get the CEL to go away. No configuring maps, no drilling of the ECU's, nothing like that. Why are people just not getting this? http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1163945

You don't need the BCM for the CANbus interface to work with JB4. Install takes 1hr. Plus gives you steering wheel controls, ASD on/off and data logging capabilities.

^^ what he said. I have also installed jb4 + BCM many times in a couple hours and also have provided a write up for helping many in the DIY section.
