2013 M5 Front Seat Rubbing
My '13 M5 front passenger seat is rubbing against the center console box and driving me nuts. Every bump on the road produces a squeak. Is there an adjustment to move the front seat side away from the center console? Is there any play in the mounting bolts to slide the seat toward the door? Should I explore if the seat bolster has needs to be adjusted and tightened toward the center of the seat? Thanks in advance for your help.

Midnight, I’m having the exact same issue. Haven’t dug in to see if the seat can move over a bit. Let me know if you discover anything.
It’s not the side bolsters. It seems that either the seat is too close to the console, or it tilts towards the center. If you raise the seat it’s less of an issue. |

I had the same issue. I unbolted the seat just enough without removing the bolts (both D and P sides). I put a wedge in between the center console and the seat rail and pushed both sides as much as possible towards the door. Then I tightened the seats. So far it's been much better. Though some pot holes do agitate the seats a little. But its no where near what it was before.
Requires T-45 socket. Try it and let me keno if it works for you.
