Allow me to break the ice, it's so COLD here!!! Today it was like 7F here. I nearly froze to death walking from the parking lot at my job to my work building. Lol! I thought it would be funny to do a quick COLD start on my M5 with it so freezing out.

Also listen for the crack when I do the first rev in the video. Totally cool!

Oh and before anyone chastises me, just chill out, I let the car warm up for a while before I revved it. Lol!

I thought about taking it for a quick drive to go kick some ice on the road but I decided against it.

We hit something on the order of -46 windchill on Monday here in part O Chicagoland...
-13 standard temp HIGH on Monday too - got both low battery and TPMS warnings too. I put the charger on it once I got home to the garage but haven't done anything with the tires...wonder if I should?

Wait...aren't we supposed to have heated windshield wipers or fluid or something? Yeah...they didn't want to work either lol!

Made it all the way to +5 today.

Can't wait for the slush to start!

The warmth in CA is probably from the radiation now hitting the west coast from Fukushima.

It was 6 this morning in Charlotte. A record for the day since the 1800s and the lowest temp period in 20 years.

Had same experience tonight in NC coming out of a restaurant to the valet guy and we fired it up and we both laughed -

The valet guy insisted on having the car just in front of the entrance of the restaurant -

Never had this treatment before in my juiced up 550i -

Cool but at one point it might be annoying having so much attention a

bout the car!!
