Manual on the 550i and 535i would be inappropriate. Those are luxury items to get you back and forth with little fuss. Manual in the M5 is all about controlling a 560hp twin turbo V8 while being wrapped in leather

Just curious on the M5 MT6, how does the engine on/off system work? When does it kick in? Would it be the same as in the DCT when the car is completely stopped or when the shift is put in Neutral?
