Same with me. Have not had a chance yet to figure out what happened. Anyone know?

Huh...I thought this was random, happened to me on Weds. Can anyone shed any light on this please? I would suggest calling BMWNA, but they're as useful as a broken condom.

Nothing wrong with the car's software at all.
The google send map function is only active for 1 year. After that, if you do NOT renew your BMW Assist, then this function will no longer work. Sorry, I thought everyone knows about this. It says so on the renewal letter which is sent out about 1 month prior to your 1 year anniversary date. http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...MyInfoFAQ.aspx Just another way to bmw is nickel & dime us to death. |

hasn't been a year for me. My M3 is 7 months old and my M5 is 4 months old and it didn't work for both cars.

check for how each car registration for the corresponding email address you have given.
Since you have not reach the 1 year anniversary date yet, you should contact BMW Assist to sort out the issue. |

I didn't find any code in the documents received with the car. I guess I will need to make the car "recognisable" to receive info. What is the app I need to download? Itunes has a few Bmw related. Thanks in advance. |

You will need to have your email address registered with BMW Assist. This should have been done on the day of delivery, if not, you just have to call them up to have your email address registered and linked to your car.
Once done, then go to google 'Map' on your computer and say you want to search for BMW museum, google will bring out the proposed destination. Next step is to click 'more', then choose 'send' and select 'car', then choose 'bmw' and type in your email address on the bmw assist account number and click 'send'. Quote:

This functionality is working again. I think the problem was on Google's side. For those of you who don't know about this, it really is a slick and convenient way to get addresses loaded into the car's nav system.
