Shifts3ctor event in Coalinga
Yesterday I attended another one of the great shifts3ctor events at the airstrip.
It was a blast, but this time the car had its ups and downs. I broke my personal record hitting 160.7mph in 1/2 mile and still hitting the top speed limiter before the cones. Here is me racing Ram's "stock" car. The catless dp's give my car a bit of an edge, but up-top (140mph+) everything evens out. Race against R1 Motorsports F10 M5 and I had a drivetrain malfunction, which cut the power off. My race vs Randy. Car running good Racing Woody....actually playing catch-up after car started to break out. Me vs X6m. I feared this one as he was using launch control with AWD, but I got a really good launch. Also raced a c7 with a ported blower putting down 760-785whp. This was our rematch since last time I beat him pretty bad. This time he had me by a car and put down a 160.3 mph on my record run. Very cool guy, trailered his car all the way from Washington and this time he got me good. Car is a beast. I will wait until he sends me his video as my gopro died.

Wow man!
You still running the BMS tune right? What psi over stock? Why did you get Drivetrain Malfunction?? I thought you were running the CAN Tool? Also were any of those E60 M5's Supercharged? You destroyed them.

It felt like one of the plugs was bad. The e60's had Headers, pulleys, tunes, full exhausts and intakes. I think Randy's is mostly Evolve stuff. Awesome group of guys.

It would usually stop at 156 mph, which I was running on GPS most of the time and the limiter would kick in before. Then the car started to freak out after I used LC to do a burn out. I used it for the first time since I got the car and apparently the computer didn't like it. Then I hit 158 mph with drivetrain malfunction at the end. I let the car rest for a bit and I did 160.7 also with DT Mal at the end and limiter kicking in before the cones. On the dashboard I got a 166 mph speed warning for the first time ever.

That Vette has got to be vastly overrating is horsepower. Like I have said before and what ColdList has been saying for years, if you dyno a car here in America on any dyno that is not a MAHA dyno, you will get very overrated whp numbers. If that blown C7 Vette had actually been making that much power, even with bad shifting and a poor launch, it would have easily over taken is competitor later on. It has a much lighter weight and better aerodynamics too. Either that or something went wrong with the supercharger in the Vette. It's anybody's guess. Either way Kamil did a great job!

The last two videos are from April. He was at 650 wheel. He came back last weekend with 130 wheel extra and drag radials. This time we raced off the line and he got me. I will post that video once he uploads it to YouTube. I'm not doubting what he said as the company who built his blower kit was there supporting him. Either way, really cool guy.
