335i vs. 750hp Blown c7 oh and a GTR lol

I really thought my buddies 335i with all its new upgrades was going to fair better. But that vette is nasty. GTR was about 5ish/6 cars back when it started lol

Seriously, anyone with a bit of money (not even much) can make a GT-R that fast.

No, maybe you should ask him what he put into the car first... it more than a little bit. (relatively speaking)

lol a little bit? To do it right so its can be daily driven and reliable it takes a lot. I just spent all weekend at the beach at a car event launching it, racing it driving it then 200 miles round trip driving it in the rain lol.

My trans was 21k from shep and can handle 1200+Wtrq [doesn't include 5k in DSS front and rear axles and hubs or trans brace from T1]

And thats not even mentioning Turbos, engine, wheels, tires, oil changes every 3k.

20-25k and you can make almost 1k all day and look super fast... Wanna do it reliable and with the best parts and make more than that. Try closing in on 80k outta pocket lol.

Kinda like UGR... Sure you could have any shop custom fab a cheap turbo kit and slap it on a Lambo and make power... Entirely different ball game if you want the car to last and make big power.

Low tens now are nothing... 3.5-10k depending on shops, labor rate, parts...

9s you double that, low 9s double that again and then 8s reliably [cause you could push a car to near 9s at 25-35k, but you'll likely brake a lot of stuff or have to be careful], you'll need 60k minimum in the car.

Prices are coming down so might be closer to 50kish now. But definitely not American cheap or even M5/M5 800+whp with clutch and pure turbos and meth cheap.

I'm at 9,900 miles on the build, more races and hooning than I can count and its been flawless. But you've gotta pay or get real lucky cutting corners in the GTR to be able to say that. Plenty of shops constantly have 800-900whp cars down for various problems.

I whole heartedly agree with the cost of go fast parts when you start getting into the 1% of GTR 's..

but realistically, to be in the top 98% of fastest GTR'S, costs less than 15k.

my friend just ran a 7.5 at 198 in his GTR, and I do NOT wanna know how much he spent, but I know it's in the hundreds of thousands.

He already has a UGR Gallardo that went 235mph in the half mile at Shift Sector.

I'm just saying, that's how much it costs him to be that fast.

The problem there is as GTRs come down in cost the gap widens on dollars spent.

Even if you bought an 04 Gallardo with tons of miles and a stage 2 or 3, you're near 30k+ on what it costs to build a comparable GTR. Not to mention UGR has strict guidelines for using their cars on film or at events lol.

Also the daily functionality of the car. UGR cars are roll cars. You start trying to launch a stage 2 or higher on the street you're gonna break something and its not really meant for that. GTR is the opposite you build the trans and axles and get the right wheels and like mine its been reliable for close to 11k miles

Yes if you have 300k to spend on a GTR vs. UGR weekend and event car UGR probably is gonna be the crazier more fancy option. But if you wanna actually use the car on a regular basis and with some comfort the GTR will be the much better option
