From Twin Turbos to 9,000 RPM
So a few days after placing the order for a Cardinal red AMG GTS my buddy kept insisting I drive his GT3. Well... Two months after the test drive I was able to find the build I was looking for. 2015 Sapphire Blue Metallic 991 GT3 with PCCB.
What a brilliant car this is.. The combination of the sound, handling, brakes and steering is something every car enthusiast needs to experience. On my drive home I got a chance to push it. The sound is intoxicating when pushed past 3500 RPM. At low speeds there isn't much except the sound of the tranny about to rip right out of the car, which I love. Two days after picking it up I installed a Sharkwerks ByPass exhaust system. What can I say.. The car literally sounds like a world rally championship car. The rear wheel steering is amazing, When switching lanes at higher speeds the car feels like its on rails and the turning radius when making a U turn will make you giggle. Manual lovers, This PDK is from another planet. Its far superior to the Dual Clutch found in the BMW and the Merc. I'll even go as far as saying its better than any tranny to come out of Maranello. I can't stop driving it! This car is truly a race car for the streets. Tints, Clear bra and yellow seat belts going in tomorrow. Photography by Kyle Fletcher (IG: kfletchphotography).

Very nice! That's the car I was supposed to get had it not been for the stop sale order at the initial launch of the car. I probably would have been happier and saved a bundle of dollars. I understand from GT3 owners that the car while not being exotic, is flawless and tough as nails! Enjoy the thrill of 9000 rpm!

Congrats, the only way I will part with my GT3 is for the unicorn RS. Sharkwerks is the ticket, and this will possibly be the last 9000 rpm car due to all the emissions laws. If you have a GT3 I say you keep it and enjoy it! I smile each time I get behind the wheel, and PDK is insane. Again be safe

Interestingly the 911 isn't the first car I have owned with 4 wheel steering. My 2012 550i was equipped with it too. I am astonished BMW left it out on the M5.
