How reliant re you on the ice tank or is this for those hot, hot days only? Did make me chuckle when I first read you are on ICE and METH lol, thats some addiction there |

It's an additional 4-5 gallon all the time so the water capacity is increased preventing heat soak (although when its super hot and in stop-n-go traffic even that doesn't help). I only ice it down at the track - and even so for the 1/2 mile. It doesn't get that hot in the 1/4.

Are you guys talking about a machined from billet engine block? I'd never heard of such a thing but watched some drag racing on TV and learned that Toyota has motors built that way, for nitro use I suppose. Did your path give you an estimated cost if we are talking a complete engine block? Does that sort of build allow for proper cooling? Streetable?

Custom billet block is for the 2.5K-3K HP range. Some GTR guys have that. Probably a $100K plus build.
