HELP: Looking to purchase F10 M5
What up everyone.
I am currently an N54 335i coupe owner. Been on the boards lurking for years, don't post much. I am in the market for a CPO'd F10 M5 right now and I think I found one I want to pull the trigger on. However, I wanted to throw out a post to see if anyone either had info on this particular car(long shot I know but worth asking) and any specifics that I might want to look out for. I want to try and cover my basis as much as I can since I am buying it out of state. The sales guy I have been working with has been VERY helpful, even gave me a facetime walk through of the car. So, what concerns are there about the following car that I should look out for? 2014 BMW M5 CPO DCT MoonStone Metallic Silverstone(I think, its white) extended merino leather Executive Package Competition Package Lighting Package Anthracite Alcantara headliner 31,318 miles Thanks so much for any insight you might provide. It is much appreciated. Brandon |

Zenn has a good point about the 4k-8k drop by end of year. Once the F80 M5 is released, the F10 M5 will take a sizable dip in value. Unless you are getting a monster of a deal, I would wait until it's released and you can benefit from the price drop by purchasing then.

Do you guys think there will be such a substantial price drop to the 2013 M5 as well? I would anticipate the 2014's dropping a bit more by the end of the year, but right now the market looks fairly low for the 2013 with low miles. I've seen 45-55k depending on miles.
I'm in the market as well for a 2013 M5 which is why I ask. I'm in a bit more of a pinch as the old E60 i was driving is no longer able to hit the road and need to replace it. I was thinking about going to the 2013 M5 but didn't want to buy before another depreciation dip in price. Sorry to highjack this thread but I feel like it's within the same context of question OP has. Thank you Danny |

I ended up picking up the 2014 I mentioned above.
iND cosmetic kit with gloss black kidney grills, paint matched outer/matte black inner/light tint on LED for the side markers, paint matched reflectors installed already. 30% tint going on tomorrow. 12mm spacers all around installed. 3M 1080 Carbon wrap roof and gloss black rear diffuser surround wrap going on next week. LOVE this car! |
