What is the value of this 2013 F10 M5 MT?
If anyone has any insight on whether I should buy this, please do share.
I have some hesitation with the amount of wear on the interior with such few miles. Current price listed at $51K Please see the link below and the attached PDF which has CarFax and Service Records. the link isnt working.. I have been shopping carmax for mt because i want there warranty. Its impossible to find one, so the price is hard to calculate as the 6 speed is either I really want it (smaller number of people, drops value) or considered rare (hard to find) its a catch 22.

Car was reserved. That's a great point! Does anybody have hard numbers on the actual number of manual transmission F10's delivered in US? |

Will get in touch with corporate and get some data on the warranty offered. I noticed you are in Austin. I'f I pass on this ride, let me know, I'll have them hold it for you; PM me your email or phone.

unknown. on a truck somewhere. They quoted 7-28 days for transport. Hopefully it's in a good spot on the truck =/

I completely understand where you're coming from; I too am patiently waiting for a 6-SPD 2014 and from what everyone has said before me, the price is certain to fall once the new ones come out. Try to enjoy whatever you're driving now for another year rather than shooting yourself in the foot by buying early.

a)It comes with a very solid CarMax MAXCARE ($5K) warranty which I have read is a godsend for M5's specifically the F10's due to the complexity of the motor. b)I intend on keeping it for a really long time and this one has low miles, one owner and complete service records. If something does become available I'll have the opportunity at that time to trade/upgrade. c)White with carbon spoiler/diffuser/black M badge looks awesome IMO. Right now I drive a honda odyssey. Which is great for what is it. But... its not an M. |

My perspective is a bit skewed as I currently have a F02, however I see your point and agree that it's not worthwhile to continue driving a minivan. Get the car, definitely go for the warranty, post pictures when you get it and be happy.

i see it now, thank you. So how do you like the car? where are you in texas? Car look clean. Also, 1 more question about the warranty. What deductible did you get and coverage term... I am seriously thinking of doing one of these cars through carmax for the warranty/

http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthr...o_threadrating Still on a truck, probably taking the great American road trip. Carmax and MaxCare are super private about pricing and deductibles. "We can only review after you have purchased the car." Really?? What if I need to allocate funds etc? Anyways... So what I've read. $8,000 for upto 100K miles with $50 deductible. $5000 for upto 100K miles with $500 deductible. * don't quote me. Largely based on extrapolation of other internet rants. ALSO, I called CNA. They will only cover the "defective" part. So If you need to replace $2000 worth of seals to get to the part in question, that's on you. Clutch not covered in Manual cars. I'll do some move research over the next couple days and let you know. PM sent with my cell# if you want to chat about it. |
