BBMR Catted Downpipes for M6 Comp Package ANY THOUGHTS?!
Any thoughts?!
Have F12 Cab 2015 and Comp Package but wanting for more growl, especially after test driving a menacing evil Audi RS7 with sports exhaust which literally blew my mind away!!! Never seen anything like it! As good as R8 V10 2017 sound!! Better than a Ferrari California V8 I drove before in Paris once!! Can M6 ever get close ?! With down intoxicating shifts too?! Catted because I lwas be in NC and strict about this!! And I don’t want the smell or the drone!! AMS and AP are other options but 3 times more $$$ Also will I have to TUNE IT?! Will I throw CEL?! Are horse power and torque gains real?! 30&60 respectively?! Who installs ?!!

I bought a set and installed on my car a month ago.
Excellent fitment. fast shipping and great product. Now I am waiting on tuner appointment to take car and Tune with the JB4 and Meth kit! I have it installed with muffler delete also. Yes got the cel light, but with JB4 you can delete and tuner will also work on it. Mine are the CATLESS. |

Hmm the catted downpipes are tempting.... I wonder if someone have used them as of yet. I would like to hear more.

I bought the non-catted version and had to take a step drill bit to the oxygen sensor hole on the heat shield to get it to line up correctly but other than that they've been great.

G'day
I have a Bmw M5 F10 LCI Competition Package and bought the BBMR Catless down pipes. I have had a "change of heart" and now going with 200 Cell High Flow Sport Cats . I've done quite a bit of research and don't like catless for several reasons (practical and legal). I'm going to buy their 200 Cell Sports Cat (and the workmanship was good on the original part I bought). The only modification and addition I'm going to make to them is a High Temperature Ceramic Coating to reduce heat in the engine bay and increase airflow inside the CATS. High Flow Cats (200 or 300 Cell Sport Cats) will not produce a CEL light and interfere with the Air Fuel Ratio from the ECU . Cheers Bruce |

Don't buy anything from BBMR! They sent me DPs that didn't fit (not even close), then argued with me and refused to cover any of the return shipping or labor charges I incurred bc their POS part didn't fit. Their customer service is horrible and not worth giving them your money. I ended up being out a lot more than I saved.
I ended up going with VRSF catless DPs. Not sure if they have a catted version, but I'd avoid BBMR. It's not worth the hassle if something goes wrong. |

We ask that when you install our Catted downpipes that you install at a muffler exhaust shop and NOT a mechanic shop. Each car has small variances in fitment(due to custom exhaust etc) and the exhaust shop can make the minor corrections if needed. Our catless downpipes do not need as much adjustment since they are not as tight in space requirements. We also have the best pricing on the market for catted downpipes.

There are few members have these DPs on their cars. The ones I talked to said there’s no issues with them. You can find them on eBay at a good price. I was going to purchase them myself, but I found a good deal on used catted AMS downpipes on this forum. AMS DPs are 300 cell, BBMR are 200 cell, and stock I think are 400.
