Looks good! Good call on doing sleeves, you will be glad you did when she's back up and running.

Is that damage to the crank in the last picture?

That's a product called Plastigauge (or it was when I last used it many years ago), used to measure the bearing clearance. You torque the main cap with the crank installed and a piece of Plastigauge on the journal, then take the cap off and use the measuring strips on the Plastigauge packaging to find out the clearance.
A question about the installed sleeves, there's a relief cast into each cylinder at the bottom, seen in the four cylinders in the last picture of post #71. I assume it's for connecting rod clearance, will you need to cut the sleeve away at that point? |

Which one what? The last picture in post #71 has a picture of the crankcase. There are reliefs cast into the walls of the four cylinders in that picture. The sleeve projects over those reliefs, will you have to cut the sleeve to give the clearance needed for the connecting rod?

I see what you're saying, but it shouldn't make a difference installing the bearings, the bearings have a notch in them and they should fit right in. Are you saying no configuration is fitting?

Forged rotating
I would think that Carillo would have made a recommendation as to the type and brand of bearings to use.
